We invited made to measure boot experts, The Spanish Boot Company, to advise us on how to measure your legs and feet properly to get the perfect fit.
How to measure for made to measure boots
When creating our Made to Measure items it is extremely important that the customer takes precise measurements to ensure the very best fit. We advise our customers to take 10 different measurements of their foot and their leg. As you can see on the diagram above, seven of these are circumferences and three are heights. Our made to measure boots take around 6-8 weeks to be made and delivered. This can increase to 12 weeks at busy times, for instance, Christmas. Unfortunately our made to measure items (like most suppliers) are non-refundable so it is extremely important to get the measurements correct. You will also need to select a standard foot size. In our designs the sizing is fairly generous. The majority of women tend to take a size down.
