Going the Extra Mile with Business Cards

Your business cards may be relatively small but they can punch above their weight in terms of what they say about you. They are often symbolic of the first point of contact between you and a new client and as such the more you can invest in your business cards the better.

Your business cards should have inherent quality and durability. They should be made from quality materials such as PVC, as this means they will last long and exude a degree of style. Many business cards go straight into the pocket of the receiver and only durable cards will be able to stand the test of time.

Your card does not necessarily have to be a card per se. Rather you can now put your contact details on various different things, for example key fobs. The advantage here is that a key fob is much less likely to go missing and also offers a receiver a little extra functionality that they might appreciate.

There is no reason why your business cards can’t cross over to become something more. For instance, you might produce business cards with magnetic strips etc which allow them to be used as membership cards.

Of course what you put on your card matters too. Before you approach plastic card printers think about your logo and what contact details will be appropriate, e.g. website, social media address.
