If you’re planning to see the New Year in in style by heading out to a fancy dress party, then no doubt it’s all hands to the pump to try and find the perfect costume. If you’re going to a family friendly party then you also have the kids to consider, but if it’s an adult only party then you can really let your imagination run wild.
In fact, the sky’s the limit. You can go dressed as your favorite cartoon character from your childhood or as one of the many superheroes on offer. Why not go utterly absurd and pick something left field like a Morph suit or a human gecko? For the ladies, sexy fancy dress costumes are always a popular choice, too. From the usual stocking and suspender type costumes to PacMan ghost costumes (yes, they can be sexy too!), if you really want to turn heads and make an entrance then a sexy fancy dress costume may well be the way forward.
If a fancy dress party is on the agenda, then you simply have to make the effort. There is simply no point in going if you’re going to just throw on some jeans and a t-shirt and call yourself Bruce Springsteen. How boring! No, if you’re going to do it, do it properly and go the whole hog. After all, if everyone else looks amazing, then you don’t want to be left out, do you?
